Ok so as part of my new years resolutions and planning for 2010, I've decided to jump on the "Project 365" bandwagon. I'm going to take a picture a day for a year. It will be fun this time next year to look back and see. I'm going to try and post them on here... but we'll see. I may just end up doing the highlights on here. I'm pretty excited. Apart from that here are a few of my other resolutions:
1) a consistent quiet time with the Lord... I'm sad to admit that this is a recycled one from last year, and I didn't make it.
2) exercise more.... another recycled one. But I feel like I have more drive this year. This last year has been a really rough one when it came to my self confidence, my goal is to fix that a bit. (to put a time line on this one, I'm going to run in a 6 mile run this summer that Eric and our group did last year.)
3) save money... this is a family one. The Bonstead's will be cracking down on our spending and saving this year. We have a goal (a home of our own) in mind and at least right now, I feel pretty determinded.
4) get involved in a small group at church... we have said we were going to do this since we got married, but it was always akward and scarey (this goes along with the whole not being self confident thing, I'm actaully pretty shy around new people) So we figure what better time to get involved than the new year. (surrprisingly, this is the one that puts my tummy in knots.)
5) Eric's Choice ... I'm going to ask Eric to come up with something specific that I can do to make him happier. I don't know if it's going to be going shotting with him more, or letting him pick a special meal a week. But whatever it is, I'm going to commit to really trying. I like this idea... every year really really working on one thing. :) I'm hoping it will keep us in tune with each other over the years.
So that's it... I'm sure I have a million other things that I need to work on, but here are my main 5. I feel like making it public and putting it out there is a way of acountability. I'm really hoping to make it this year! Happy New Year Everyone! :)
